New Communication Volunteers
Poetry News with Kirstyn Bauer and Isaac King
Kirstyn Bauer and Isaac King (Bob King’s grandson) are our two new communication volunteers heading up a new online publication called Poetry News. Their first story is “Arsen Kashkashian: Leading the Living Poets Society Book Club at Boulder Bookstore.”

Solstice Reading at Lithic Bookstore in Fruita
Over 50 people turned out for the poetry reading at the Lithic Bookstore in Fruita to hear CPC poets Danny Rosen, Chantae Bryant, Wendy Videlock and Ellen Metrick read on June 20, 2025.
Englewood Block Party Poetry Booth
The August Englewood Block Party featured a new creative space this year: the Englewood Poetry Booth, hosted in partnership with the Colorado Poets Center and Columbine Poets, Inc. Community members were invited to stop by, choose a prompt, and write a poem to share.
