Colorado Language Arts Society Presentation
Beth Franklin and Kathryn Winograd gave a presentation on teaching poetry with the Colorado Poets Center at the Colorado Language Arts Society Conference in Denver on October 14, 2023. Their powerpoint is linked here.
Upcoming Events
1. World Eats Poetry Slam at Front Range Community College @ Boulder County Community College in Longmont on April 3, 2024 from 11:30-1:30. We are looking for community college poets to read at this event.
2. Denver's Romero Theater Troupe in collaboration with the CPC will raise funds for Casa de Paz on April 13, 2024, 6:30 pm, UNC Urban Education Program Auditorium. Uche Ogbuji will open and close the performance.
3. Zoom Poetry Reading with Kathryn Winograd and another poet (TBD): Writing in the Ekphrastic: Poetry and Prose and the Visual Image on April 4, 2024, 7:00 p.m.
